St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church | Martinsville, Indiana
St. Martin of Tours Parish through its educational programs strives to make the development of the Catholic faith a lifelong process, by teaching the truths of Jesus Christ as revealed by Christ in sacred Scripture and through the magisterium of the Church, and by providing programs that will give deeper faith and spiritual growth through understanding of basic Catholic beliefs. (adapted October 17, 1994)
Our goals are to give support to and serve as advisory group for the coordinator of religious education. We are liaisons to the board for the catechists, with each member assigned 3-4 catechists to assist in any way possible. We coordinate the first communion reception and the catechists’ brunch and provide assistance at the first communion retreat and vacation bible school if needed.

You do not need to be a member of the Catholic Church or join the church to attend.
Ladies Faith Group
The ladies faith group continues to evolve. All ladies 18 and older from the parish are always invited. Regular attendance is not required. We meet two Tuesdays per month from 7-8:30 pm. We will have a topic and presentation at one meeting and then a less formal group sharing, discussion, and time for socializing, at the next meeting. . This is an open and flexible group. If you are not able to attend every meeting, that’s okay. Please always feel free to join us.
Babysitters are needed for the Tuesday night class and the Advent Bible Study—great opportunity for service hours.
